Express Entry

Express Entry is a system that Canada use to manage immigration applications from skilled workers to migrate to Canada. There are 3 immigration programs managed through Express Entry.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a leading pathway for temporary foreign workers and international graduates who go on to gain Canadian work experience are eligible to apply for Express Entry.

International Student

International students graduate from an eligible educational program in Canada gain permanent residence through the CEC. 

Temporary Foreign Worker

Temporary foreign workers are eligible for the CEC program after gaining one year of work experience in Canada.

Federal Skilled Workers (FSWP)

The FSWP program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience and also those that haven’t been invited by a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Federal Skilled Trades (FSTP)

This program FSTP by federal and provincial governments is to bring more skilled trades workers to Canada to address labour shortages in trades occupations. Canada has skill trades workers shortage because of aging population and low birth rate.

Provincal Nominee Program (PNP)

The provincial nominee program (PNP) is for workers who have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory want to live in that province or territory want to become permanent residents of Canada. Each province and territory has its own “streams” (immigration programs that target certain groups) and requirements. For example, in a program stream, provinces and territories may target
